On 24th April 2026: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), IBA Karachi, successfully conducted a Quality Dialogue, primarily engaging participants from educational institutes across Karachi.
The session featured a panel discussion on “Faculty Development for Excellence: Platforms, Pedagogies and Challenges,” bringing together distinguished experts from leading institutions including AKU, Habib University, HEC, and IBA. The panel comprised Dr. Muneer Ahmed (Director NAHE, HEC), Dr. Kamran Mumtaz (Director CILET, IBA), Dr. Syed Moin Ali (Director MHPE, AKU) and Ms. Muneera Batool (Assistant Professor, Habib University), and was effectively moderated by Dr. Sana Tauseef, Director QEC, IBA.
The discussion provided valuable insights into innovative teaching practices, evolving faculty development platforms, and the practical challenges faced by educators in today’s dynamic academic landscape. It fostered a rich exchange of ideas, encouraging collaboration and shared learning among participants, and was widely appreciated by the audience.
The session was attended by officials and representatives from Habib University, Iqra University, Sir Syed University, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Dow University of Health Sciences, Institute of Business and Management, Ziauddin University, Bahria University, Indus University, Newports Institute of Communications and Economics and several other well-known institutions.
