Our activities
The QEC at the IBA is a vibrant place. The team engages in progress reviews, liaising with local and international bodies for collaboration, program reviews and assessment, compliance with HEC guidelines, workshops, accreditations and a lot more. The cell works in close coordination with all stakeholders and departments at the IBA. The department also conducts faculty and students' surveys/evaluations to further enhance and review our quality standards and continuously improve at all levels.
Although mandated by the HEC, the QEC at the IBA is not just an implementation in compliance. Rather, taking an all-encompassing view, the QEC itself is in line with the path set forth for the IBA.
The Institute has gone through major changes over the six decades in order to embrace a wider set of disciplines in its curricula. These changes have been made in order to respond to the requirements of the society, the market and the economy. They are also an outcome of associations forged with credible institutions both local and international. Aligned with the IBA's Vision, QEC attempts to survey all aspects of university functioning, bringing them at par and even exceed international standards. Taking a broader view, the IBA seeks to help Pakistan move towards a knowledge based economy. Establishment of the QEC is one of the steps taken in this regard.
