MS & PhD Programs Review Based on PREE Standard - Department of Computer Science

On April 23, 2026, the Quality Enhancement Cell, IBA Karachi conducted Self‑Assessment Reviews for the MS (Computer Science), MS (Data Science), and PhD (Computer Science) programs offered by the Department of Computer Science.

The Assessment Team comprised Dr. Sher Muhammad Daudpota, Professor and Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, IBA Sukkur University, as the External Evaluator and Dr. Ashar Saleem, Program Director of IBA-SBS Graduate Programs, as the Internal Evaluator.

The review process involved a comprehensive evaluation of curriculum structure, research activities, learning outcomes, and academic and administrative processes related to the programs under review. As part of the review, the assessment team held detailed meetings with the respective program teams and the Program Director to discuss program structure, available resources, policies, and overall progress. Interactive sessions were also conducted with faculty members and students to obtain feedback on various academic and support-related aspects.

The review concluded with an exit meeting with the Dean, Chairperson, and the Director QEC during which key observations, strengths, and areas for improvement were shared.
