QEC-IBA Karachi Hosts CIEC Sindh HEC Visit for Evaluation, Assessment, and Ranking 2023

October 12, 2023: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, welcomed the Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC) of Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC). The visit was conducted with the primary objective of assessing, evaluating, and rating. Distinguished guests, including the Chairperson of Sindh HEC, Dr. S.M. Tariq Rafi, Vice Chancellors, and subject experts from various universities, graced the occasion.

Members of the Expert Sub-committees had constructive discussions with the Deans of the three schools including, Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Dean, School of Business Studies (SBS); Dr. Asma Hyder, Dean, School of Economics and Social Sciences (SESS); and Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khoja, Dean, School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) accompanied by their respective Chairpersons, Program Directors, and QEC representatives.

The central CIEC Committee received a warm welcome from the IBA leadership including Executive Director, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi; Registrar, Dr. Asad Ilyas; Deans, Director QEC, Dr. Sana Tauseef and Departmental Heads, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the strides and achievements made by the IBA Karachi over the past two years.

The CIEC members were guided on a tour of the campus, culminating in a ceremony where shields were distributed.
