IPE (Institutional Performance Evaluation) Team Visit
Quality Enhancement Cell, IBA conducted the Self Institutional Performance Review (Self-IPE) of Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. The Self-Evaluation of the IBA was performed taking into account the three parameters comprising (i) review of the University Portfolio Report (UPR) and annexed information/data, (ii) interactions with the administration, faculty and students of the IBA and (iii) visit to the IBA facilities.
The Review Panel (RP) for the Self-IPE comprised the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Arshad Karim (External Evaluator) - Director QEC, Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET)
2. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Bhutto (External Evaluator) - Deputy Director-I QEC, NED University of Engineering & Technology (NEDUET)
3. Dr. Kamran Mumtaz (Internal Evaluator) - Chairperson, Management Dept., Institute of Business Administration (IBA)
4. Ms. Nida Aslam Khan (Internal Evaluator) - Lecturer, Marketing Dept., Institute of Business Administration (IBA)
The UPR was prepared based on the guidelines provided to them by HEC IPE Manual and comprised the following eleven performance standards outlining major areas to be focused. The UPR also included a series of answers to the questions related to each of the eleven standards.

- Standard 5: Faculty
- Standard 6: Students
- Standard 7: Institutional Resources

- Standard 10: Assessment & Quality Assurance
- Standard 11: Student Support Services
The team also went through the relevant records, made on spot queries from the facilitators and checked the samples from the records.
