Second cycle of Self-Assessment Review (SAR) of MS Islamic Banking & Finance program

July 25th, 2022: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at IBA Karachi conducted the Self-Assessment Review (SAR) site visit of the MS Islamic Banking & Finance (MS IBF) program. The program went through its second cycle of SAR. The Program Team (PT) consisted of the following members:

1. Dr Irum Saba, Program Director and PT lead
2. Dr Sana Tauseef, Chairperson of the Finance department and member
3. Dr Hilal Anwar Butt, member PT

The Assessment Team (AT) consisted of:

1. Dr. Saad Azmat from LUMS (external reviewer)
2. Dr. Nauman J. Amin from IBA (internal reviewer)
3. Dr. Mohsin Sadaqat from IBA (internal-external reviewer)

The Purpose of the meeting was to check the program against the HEC minimum criteria to for its compliance in terms of program structure, resources, policies and its overall progress. The assessment team after thorough review of the SAR activity gave their recommendation to the program for improvement which were appreciated by the program team.
