Director's Message
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) works to continuously improve our teaching, learning, research, and governance standards. To achieve our goal, we work in close coordination with stakeholders that are both internal and external. The QEC at the IBA participates actively in the national arena and ensures IBA’s representation at all platforms. Working as a bridge between internal quality and external best practices, the QEC plays a vital role in ensuring IBA continues to evolve in academia and keeps up with the demands of changing times.
One of our core responsibilities is to liaise with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Furthermore, we ensure compliance with the national accreditation agencies' standards such as the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) and international accreditation bodies such as Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA). We are a part of higher education organization such as the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the American Society for Quality (ASQ). These linkages result in an incredible source of the exchange of ideas for innovation and quality assurance in academia.
The QEC at the IBA continues to strive and push its boundaries to ensure procedural compliance that facilitates the three IBA schools, in achieving better governance, improved teaching and impactful research.
