First cycle of Self-Assessment Review (SAR) of MS Management program

March 18th, 2022: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at IBA Karachi conducted the Self-Assessment Review (SAR) site visit of the MS Management (MS MGMT) program. The program went through its first cycle of SAR. The Program Team (PT) consisted of the following members:

1. Dr Ashar Saleem, Program Director and PT lead
2. Dr Muhammad Ayaz, Chairperson of the MGMT department and member
3. Dr Kamran Mumtaz, member PT

The Assessment Team (AT) consisted of:

1. Dr. Athar Siddiqui from KSBL (external reviewer)
2. Dr. Najam Akbar Anjum from IBA (internal reviewer)
3. Dr. Abdul Majid from IBA (internal-external reviewer)

The Purpose of the meeting was to check the program against the HEC minimum criteria to for its compliance in terms of program structure, resources, policies and its overall progress. The assessment team after thorough review of the SAR activity gave their recommendation to the program for improvement which were appreciated by the program team. The review meeting was followed by exit meeting with the Dead of the SBS where some key highlights were shared by the assessment team.
