Curriculum Management for Quality and Accreditation, organized by Sindh HEC

On February 13 2026, Dr. Sana Tauseef, Director QEC at IBA Karachi, facilitated a workshop on Curriculum Management for Quality and Accreditation, organized by Sindh HEC. The session was attended by over 50 senior faculty members and department heads from universities across Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Sukkur.

The workshop focused on aligning curriculum with institutional mission and strategic priorities, emphasizing that curriculum design must translate vision into clearly defined competencies and measurable learning outcomes. The governance processes that support curriculum development and approval were also highlighted, underscoring the importance of transparency, accountability, and structured oversight. Participants also explored the role of data-driven curriculum improvement, stressing the use of evidence, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics to strengthen academic quality. The discussion further emphasized that effective pedagogy is central to value creation; teaching approaches, assessment strategies, and student engagement ultimately determine whether the intended curriculum is meaningfully delivered in practice.
