Annual Self- Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) of IBA, Karachi

May 31st and June 1st, 2022: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at IBA Karachi conducted its annually scheduled self- Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) activity. The IPE review panel consisted of three members. The internal members were Dr. Lalarukh Ejaz, Assistant Professor, department of economics, School of Economics and Social Sciences (SESS) and Dr. Sajjad Haider, Professor department of computer science, School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS). Dr Asif Ahmed Shaikh was the external member. He is the Director QEC, Professor and Dean, Environmental Engineering department at the NED University, Karachi. The purpose of the review was to assess IBA against the eleven standards provided by the HEC IPE Manual for continuous quality improvement. The IPE panel members met the Executive Director, Dr Akbar Zaidi, three Deans of the respective schools, the Director, QEC, and the heads of the various academic and administrative departments and faculty members. Current structures and policies, along with the areas of improvement, were discussed. The two day activity was concluded with an exit meeting with the Executive Director, IBA and deans of the schools.
