About QEC
Although mandated by the HEC, the QEC at the IBA is not just an implementation in compliance. Rather, taking an all encompassing view, the QEC itself is in line with the path set forth for the IBA.
Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Ishrat Hussain, the IBA has been undergoing many constructive changes towards a vision of making it one of the best business schools in Asia. Aligned with this vision, the QEC attempts to survey all aspects of university functioning, bringing them at par and even exceed international standards. Taking a broader view, the IBA seeks to help Pakistan move towards a knowledge based economy. Establishment of the QEC is one of the steps taken in this regard.
